Sodium hydroxide handling:
Handle in a ventilated room using appropriate protective equipment. Avoid contact with the substance, avoid inhalation of vapors / dusts. Wash thoroughly after handling, remove contaminated clothing, wash before reuse. When diluting, pour the substance into water, not the other way around. Sodium hydroxide releases strong heat when mixed with water. The substance is hygroscopic.
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Use a protective cream. Wash hands before eating. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Sodium hydroxide Handling rules
Do not smoke, drink or eat during handling. Avoid contact with the substance. Also, do not breathe vapor or dust. It is recommended to use a protective cream on exposed skin. Wash hands thoroughly before eating. Wash thoroughly after handling, be sure to wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
When diluting sodium hydroxide, the substance must be poured into water – in no case the opposite is hygroscopic. When mixed with water, the substance is released under strong heat.
